Mesothelioma is the disease that took it away, but is also the title of the poem written by our friend Louis Giachero little over a month ago.
Just this morning we celebrated the funeral of Louis.
Louis was a good craftsman, a keen amateur astronomer, a researcher of minerals, a poet who had published a few weeks ago and presented a book.
This poem was probably the last cher wrote, he handed his friend stretcher to Lourdes Ganora Sergio (pictured here with him), and today it seems appropriate to bring to the attention of all.
Louis oftaliani us we little known, or at least for a short time … I could say, but this pilgrimage for those who knew and who shared with him can only be a sign. A strong sign of which to remember.
His suffering, his sickness and his will to live.
His desire to take all actions that are performed at Lourdes and the Sacraments: swimming in the pool, the Grotto, Reconciliation, Communion, Anointing of the sick.
Acts of faith made with strong determination, and always with a smile.
